The spa, wellness and conference hotel Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget is situated on Margaret Island (Margitsziget) in the heart of Budapest. Margaret Island, which stretches for 4 kilometres along the centre of the River Danube, is a protected, leafy, botanical parkland area with ancient trees, a Japanese Garden, a Rose Garden, an open-air theatre and walking and jogging tracks. The island is car-free, but hotel guests can access the island by car for the hotel.

The four-star Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget (formerly Danubius Thermal Hotel Margitsziget) was the first metropolitan spa hotel in the world that offered a wide range of spa and therapeutic services, wellness and beauty treatments as well as fitness facilities.

The hotel has recently been renovated to harmonize with its woodland setting on Budapest's beautiful Margaret Island. The hotel now boasts one of Europe's top Health Spas, the therapies of which are based on the utilisation of the water from three of the island's natural thermal water springs. Vladimír Bureš31.05.2011 - Poloha hotelu a prostředí Margaretina ostrova je opravdu nádhera,termální prameny super,celkový dojem opravdu kazí jen nepřívětivá až arogantní obsluha recepce z celkového počtu zaměstnancu recepce byl na urovni pouze jeden na kterého bylo spolehnutí,dále mi vadil přístup hotelu v případě konferencí které se v hotelu konají poměrně často,pokud byla v hotelu konference,ostatní zákazníci a ubytovaní měli smulu a na jídlo museli do druhého odlehlého hotelového zařízení,ale jako plus beru že to jídlo ve vedlejším hotelu bylo lepší a levnější a řízek který Vám přinesou má na délku 30 cm.

Návštevníci zo Slovenska14.09.2010 - S manželkou sme si vybrali tento hotel, aby sme v príjemnom prostredí oslávili jej okrúhle výročie. Podmienkou bolo dobré ubytovanie, dostupné parkovisko a predovšetkým wellnes služby. Všetky tieto kritériá boli pobytom v tomto hoteli maximálne naplnené. Vo vzťahu k cene ide o veľmi kvalitné a čisté ubytovanie, wellnes je priamo v hoteli a doň možno ísť priamo oblečený v župane. Strava by mohla byť lepšia a služby na recepcii sa mi zdali byť až tak "profesionálne", akoby recepčný trochu pozabudli, že ich cieľom je zákazník a návštevník hotela a nie oni sami. Inak celkový pobyt v tomto hoteli s wellnes službami hodnotím maximálne pozitívne. Určite sa sem ešte vrátime. Návštevníci zo Slovenska
