The Prague Castle- that is the immediate vicinity of the area, which the King Charles hotel is situated.It belongs to the most picturesque sights of the famous Lesser Town. A few minutes walking to Charle Bridge. Originally a gothic building - a part of the Benedictine Order - was rebuilt in 1639 into a baroque house "At three roses".
Situated by the Prague castle wall it became a part of the "Kings Road". A medieval effect of the small brook in its old cellars made this building even more popular during the rule of the King Rudolf II.

Köhler27.08.2010 - Hotel in ruhiger Lage trotz Zentrumsnähe - sehr angenehm. 40Sek Fußmarsch bis zur Burg :) Einziges Manko: Parkplatz nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe, wir haben unser Auto auf bewachten Parkplatz im Hotel Pyramid - ca 1km vom Hotel geparkt für 300 CKZ / Tag (sehr günstig im Verhältnis zum Durchschnittspreis). Wir haben alles in der Stadt zu Fuß erkundet, weshalb wir nicht aufs Auto angewiesen waren. Zum Hotel: Frühstück war gut - alles was man brauchte war vorzufinden. Aufgang zum Hotelzimmer war etwas mühselig - viele kleine Stufen - für Lauffaule kann der Fahrschul benutzt werden. Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Licht im Flur, was nach Ansprache leider in den 3 Tagen Unterkunft nicht behoben werden konnte - vermutungsweise nichtwillen. Die Minibar hatte gefühlte 35°C da der Rahmen verzogen und die Tür nicht mehr schloss, ist die Bar gar nicht erst einmal angewesen. Ein kleines Fach im Schrank diente als Pseudosafe zum Verschluss wichtiger Utensilien. Das Hotel wird dem Namen Romantikhotel gerecht - die Deckenverziehrungen sind einzigartig. Alles in Allem hätte es viel schlimmer kommen können :) Ich würde das Hotel weiter empfehlen, aber nie für die zu Buchenden Standardkonditionen von 160€/Tag fürs Doppelzimmer. Frühstücksbereich war relativ klein, weshalb Spätfrühstücker immer im Raum nebenan (Bar) Platz fanden zu Speisen.

Hoffmann24.08.2010 - Sehr freundliche und kooperative Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, wunderbare Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstück, Tiefgarage konnte in der Nähe vermittelt werden; insgesamt eine sehr gute Abrundung für einen Aufenthalt in Prag.

PSt31.03.2010 - Die Lage ist zentral, doch leider durch die Touristenströme lärmig. Der Tagesdienst im Hotel war freundliche, der Nachtdienst dagegen keine Kundenfreundlichkeit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war spartanisch. Die Zimmer stilvoll, aber dunkel. Das Ambiente und die Gestaltung des Hotels liebevoll und in Anlehnung an den böhmischen Barock.
