Location of hostel Dakura is simply great - perfect access for all modes of transport. From the airport or train station you come in 20 minutes. From the historical center in 7 minutes. Public transport is walking from the hostel 3 minutes (metro, tram, bus). To the Prague Castle you get a romantic walk in 20 minutes.
In the immediate vicinity of the hostel there are many restaurants, bars, shops and other services you can use during your visit.

Daniele25.08.2011 - Lage: Das Hostel liegt ca. 10 Gehminuten von der Prager Burg Pražský hrad entfernt. Unmittelbar neben dem Hotel finden sich Kneipen, Bars, Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Restaurants. Dennoch liegt das Hostel sehr ruhig. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist top - das betrifft: Auto, Strraßenbahn, Bus und Metro. Bei allem ist dennoch ein Statdplan erforderlich. Diesen kann man für umgerechnet 1,50€ direkt an der Rezeption kaufen. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es kostenfreie, nicht überwachte Parkplätze. Überwachte Parkplätze finden sich erst in der Innenstadt wieder. Rezeption Dienste: Die Dame sprach ausschließlich Tschechisch. Die Kommunika klappte aber dennoch irgendwie, da die Dame sehr nett und äußerst hilfreich war. An der Rezeption kann man sowohl in €, als auch in tschechichen Kronen zahlen. Der Wechselkurs ist gut. An der Rezeption kann man auch direkt einen Statdplan kaufen. Sehr empfehlenswert, da genau der gleiche Plan in der Stadt das dreifache kostet. Zimmer & Reinheit: Wenn man das Hostel von außen sieht, bekommt man erst mal einen Schock. Die Fassade ist nicht mehr die Beste ;-) und den Eingang findet man nur bei genauem Hinsehen. Auch die Aufmachung der Rezeption ist eher schlicht. Dennoch - und das war für uns das Entscheidende - die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und im IKEA-Stil eingerichtet. Auf dem Zimmer gibt es ein Waschbecken, Betten, Schrank, Tisch, Stuhl und ein Fenster. Die Duschen und Toiletten waren alt, aber sauber. Verhältnis Preis/Qualität: Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war wirklich gut. Man darf nicht vergessen, dass es sich hier um ein Ho(s)tel und eben nicht um ein Hotel handelt. Das Hostel hat den besonderen Vorteil, dass es zwar zentral, aber eben nicht direkt in der Altstadt (Stare Mesto) liegt. Dadurch kann man deutlich günstiger einkaufen und essen gehen. In der Stadt ist fast alles drei- bis viermal teurer. Das Hostel empfiehlt sich als Durchreisestation, aber auch für Selbstverpfleger. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt (ab 4 Tage) würde ich aber wohl zu einem schickeren Hotel raten.
