The hotel BUDWEIS **** is situated in the very heart of the city’s historical centre, in a quiet part of the city with a square at the mouth of the blind arm of the River Malše. The history of the building dates back as far as the 14th century built on the site of a former mill.
The city’s main rectangular square of Přemysl Otakar II, one of the most beautiful in Europe, is found only a few yards away from the hotel.
The windows of the hotel rooms provide a wonderful view of the confluence of the Rivers Vltava and Malše, the historical part of the city with its square, the blind arm of the Malše together with the Dominican Monastery – the oldest monument in the city that was built when the city was founded in the 13th century and became part of the city’s fortifications.

The hotel has 6 floors, a total of 60 barrier-free rooms of an area ranging from 23 to 26 m2, 59 double bedrooms and 1 suite. Three rooms are adapted for the needs of the handicapped. There is a lift, of course. If requested, we can arrange for luggage to be collected, linen washed and garments cleaned. A small fitness centre with a sauna is available to guests on one of the upper floors. You will find all the comfort you would expect of a four-star hotel in elegantly furnished non-smoking rooms.
Guests’ safety is ensured by smoke and heat detectors throughout the building. A security locking system is installed on the room doors.

There is a reception and exchange office in the hotel lobby with a shop selling small hygienie and gift items. The hotel lobby provides access to a café with 40 seating places and a restaurant able to serve 100 guests. There is also a small saloon for 24 people suitable for organising smaller events, training and parties.
The restaurant has a summer garden offering guests a place to sit in an oasis of calm in the very centre of the city.
There is a hall on the first floor (set apart from the hotel room area) able to hold about 100 people, so we can organise conferences, seminars, training, receptions, parties and provide sound equipment, hire out a data projector, back projector, slide projector, TV, video, flipcharts and screens.

We can also provide our customers with music of various genres, guide services (we can plan an accurate programme), boat trips on the Lipno and Orlík Dams, a brewery excursion and so on.
